An artist/educator introduces her students to meditation practice and the concept of "flow."
Last summer I gave a presentation at the Center of Cartoon Studies Educators Symposium. My art classes had completed exercises in mindfulness and I wanted to discuss what we had learned. The simple comic that follows was part of my presentation. It offers the concept of “Flow” as a way to engage reluctant learners.

Festival Season 
I love this–especially the depiction of those snarky teens balanced by the path to the flow. Besides being useful for teaching, I appreciate the cheerleading for the flow for myself. Yay, Cara!
